Stats highlights from the third day of the Hobart Test

In his last 12 innings in all international cricket, de Kock has scored two centuries and six fifties1 De Kock became the first wicketkeeper to score a Test century in Australia before the age of 24. The previous youngest was Mathew Wade, who scored a century when he was 25.144 Runs added by de Kock and Temba Bavuma, South Africa’s highest partnership for the sixth wicket in Australia, and also the highest for that wicket by any visiting team in Hobart. The previous best was 57 by Azhar Mahmood and Inzamam-ul-Haq in 1999.88 Wickets taken by Josh Hazlewood in his career, the most by any Australian bowler since he made his debut in December 2014. His figures of 6 for 89 on the third day in Hobart was his second six-wicket haul. It was also the second best bowling figures in an innings by an Australian in Hobart: Shane Warne took 6 for 31 against New Zealand in 1993.2 Matches in which South Africa had a lead of over 200 against Australia since readmission. The only previous occasion was in Cape Town in 2009. In the last ten years, Australia have conceded a 200-plus lead on five occasions at home, three of which were in the 2010-11 Ashes.
